Here's the Itinerary:

Friday, April 8th: Meet in Imperial Beach and leave at 8 pm to cross the border. We'll all ride together with Manny as our driver to ensure we have a hassle-free crossing

We'll arrive to our destination. A house at Raul's (my favorite break in Baja) about 35 min across the border. We'll settle in and rest up for morning surf!

Saturday, April 9th:

Dawn Patrol Surf includes videos and photos by Manny V! Tacos, Beer, Surf again, Sunset, Lobster Dinner, Surf clips review, and tips for improving.

Sunday, April 10th:

Sunday Brunch, Afternoon surf, and a trip to Valle de Guadelupe (Baja's Wine Valley) with over 100 wineries and amazing food! We'll also do an exclusive COASL podcast recording and go over more surf clips and footage with Manny.

Monday, April 11th

Dawn Patrol, Breakfast, Pack up at 11 am. Taco lunch and the Baja Weekender Awards where one of you will walk away with the one and only one Baja Weekender Surf Monkey Award.

After amazing food and the fun award ceremony, we'll head for the border. Our goal is to be at the border by 1 pm-2 pm. A one to four-hour border wait is possible. To help get you through the wait, we watch surf flicks on the DVD player in the Baja Mobile. This will be the time to pick up that last-minute souvenir. You can chat it up and bargain with the border vendors... border CHURROS are a must-have!

We expect to return to Imperial Beach around 3 pm on Monday the 11th.

More Details:

• Baja norte water is cold. Like 4/3+ booties cold. I just want to make sure everyone knows this isn't a bikini destination and it's a little colder than SoCal. HOWEVER, the lineups are sparse, and it's absolutely gorgeous. This place is WORTH putting on the booties for.

• Airport pickup: If you fly in or out, or decide to stay in San Diego for a few days I can pick you up! If you decide to stay in San Diego a bit I'll be there to surf with you! I also have 1 extra board I can loan while you're here.

• Board Rental: If you fly in, Manny has a 9-6 or 8-0 foamies to rent ($100 for the weekend) I also have a 9-0Torq I can loan. We can also look into other board rental options if you want a different style!

• Surf Société Perks: I'm throwing in a few special things for our trip, you'll see them on the registration page
