Meet Your Mentor
Style master, longboard judge, loves to talk surfing, really good at noseriding (and teaching it!)
Erin didn't grow up surfing but made longboarding all her own. She'll talk technique, mindset, and help you find a way to develop your own style. If your goal is to take your first cross-steps, close the gap to the nose, or dial up the style factor on that Hang 5, she'll help you break it down and apply it in the water.

More than a Surf Trip
This retreat is the in-person extension of The Surf Société’s Nose Ride Blueprint, our 12-week online program for women working toward cross-stepping, noseriding, and more confident longboarding.
We’ll spend four days in Northern Baja surfing longboard-friendly waves, reviewing footage, discussing, asking questions, and applying the concepts from the program in real time.
The goal is to understand your movement, your timing, your setup, and what you need next on your path toward the nose.

Your Host
Just your fellow cross-step / noseride enthusiast here. Really excited to learn with a community of stoked and supportive women. I’d love to show you my favorite wave in Baja. We’re gonna have the best time and learn so much, I promise!
The Noseride Blueprint Program
Yes, we’re going to hunt for waves and eat delicious tacos. But this trip is also part of something bigger.
Part of The Noseride Blueprint Series
Your spot on this retreat includes access to our 12-week online challenge (Aug 5 - Nov 4), where we’ll work on cross-stepping, setup, timing, confidence, and getting closer to the nose together.

Technique
Cross-step mechanics, board awareness, setup, timing, and developing your own style.
We'll also talk about how to create a resilient mindset so you can chase your goals.
Mentorship
Daily guidance and discussion with Erin “Worm” Meza-Ashley. Mentor, Longboard judge, loves to talk surfing, and just really good at noseriding.
Video Review
Manny will capture thousands of photos, drone, and land videos. Worm will help us review between sessions so we can improve on the next surf session.
Community
We'll all be working toward the same goals, together. Join a supportive community where you'll thrive and have fun chasing your first cross-step or reaching the nose in style.

This trip is perfect for you if...
You’ve been dreaming of cross-stepping and noseriding, and you want to work on the details with a mentor and a supportive group of women.
This is a good fit if you want:
-
More individualized attention
-
A supportive women’s surf environment
-
Longboard-specific mentorship
-
Real footage of your surfing
-
A better understanding of your cross-step and setup
-
A focused but fun Baja experience
Skill Level:
This trip is for womxn longboarders who can comfortably go down the line and are ready to work on cross-stepping, noseriding, and longboard technique with more intention.
You don’t need to already noseride. You just need to be comfortable catching waves, riding down the line, and open to feedback, video review, and trying things that may not look perfect right away.
We’ll all be working toward the same goal from different places,
and part of the magic is doing it together and learning from each other.
Accomodations
We'll be staying in the Gaviotas Gated Community just 22 miles south of the border, near Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo.
This gives us access to an epic right-point break. We may drive to neighboring waves to find ideal conditions to practice cross-stepping and noseriding.
The house includes shared accommodations for our small group: one room with single beds and one queen room. Both rooms share a bathroom.
Since this is a small group, we'll draw straws for the queen room! (Or you can try to bribe Manny to reserve it for you)

By joining this retreat, you’re participating in a shared Surf Société learning experience connected to the Noseride Blueprint program.
That means pieces of the trip, including photos, video, mentor conversations, breakthroughs, and session takeaways, may be shared with our Surf Société community and with women taking the challenge from home.
The goal is to bring the learning back to the community, so everyone can feel connected even if they couldn’t make it to Baja.
