The Surf Societe

If you are joining a membership at The Surf Société Inc. you confirm that:

1. You are of legal consenting adult age, or you have parental or guardian consent to participate on the platform.

2. You understand that the health and wellness advice and consultations given on The Surf Société platform are for informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, cure, or treat any diseases.

3. While The Surf Société offers advice, tips, and exercises on how to improve your surfing and execute surf maneuvers while in the ocean, you understand and accept that surfing is a dangerous sport and has a risk of serious physical injury or even death and you fully accept responsibility for such risks as a condition of participating in any suggested activity, tips, or exercises by our surf guides, event organizers, mentors, or hosts at The Surf Société Inc.

4. You understand and accept that The Surf Société Inc. and the event organizers, our Surf Guides, do not accept any liability of any sort for bodily injury, illness or death sustained to or by you or loss or damage to any of your possessions or goods (eg: surfboards, vehicles, surf gear, clothing, cameras etc) whatsoever and howsoever their loss or damage is caused.
   
   Each member also consents to the recording of his/her voice, image and likeness captured by any means including online meeting platforms such as but not limited to zoom or crowdcast, cameras/telephones/mobile devices while present in, at or about the event and the transmission of these images/voices in perpetuity by The Surf Societé Inc., by any means and waives all moral and legal rights in and to any recordings of sound made or images taken at any Official Surf Société Event, as advertised on the platform.

5. You understand that The Surf Société Inc. does not assume responsibility for advice, information, and instruction provided by our surf guides, partners, and event organizers. You understand that our partners are responsible for the information they provide to members.

6. You have read and understand the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

I, hereby agree to indemnify The Surf Société and the hosts, mentors, surf guides, & event organizers for any and all the claims, loss and expenses of any sort arising by reason of the Terms of Service and of my breach of the above conditions, unauthorized acts or otherwise. Any breach of these conditions or failure by me to obey the lawful directions of The Surf Société Inc. or the hosts, mentors, surf guides, & event organizers hereby entitles The Surf Société Inc. to terminate my membership without any refund of fees or any compensation of any sort and to disqualify me automatically.
