Vanessa is a community creator and founder of the worlds largest women’s surfing group. Her group, Women Who Surf on Facebook has grown to over 22k members (and counting). Women Who Surf has received worldwide recognition with shout-outs from facebook and even the legendary Bethany Hamilton.

Vanessa has also started surf communities such as Latinx Surf Club, promoting representation within the Latinx Surf community here in Southern California that offers free lessons to break the stigma of surfing.
